4. Appointment Terms
Booking Appointments can be booked online or by phone. A booking confirmation will be sent to the contact details provided.
Cancellation and Rescheduling We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
No-Shows Missed appointments without prior notice may incur a no-show fee.
Late Arrivals If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide your full appointment within the remaining time, but this may not always be possible. The appointment may be shortened or rescheduled.
5. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash.
Health fund rebates can be processed at the clinic for participating funds. The rebate amount is determined by your fund and your level of cover. You are responsible for any gap amount after the rebate.
6. Medicare
Standard chiropractic appointments are not covered by Medicare. Patients on a valid Enhanced Primary Care (EPC/GP Management Plan) with a current referral may be eligible for a limited number of rebated visits per calendar year. A gap fee will apply for some appointments. Confirm eligibility with your GP before attending.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Align Health Co is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
- Your use of or reliance on information on this website
- Any service provided at the clinic, beyond the liability imposed by applicable legislation
- Technical issues with the website or online booking system
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
